Nice story about living in Spain. One thing I would add to the article would be that Spain is in general cheaper for cost of living which is very important for people coming over and retiring in the sun.

Last year I holidayed to Mallorca during the peak-holiday season and I was reliably informed before I departed to pre-book an airport transfer as it would undoubtedly be rather hectic when I was there, (which turned out to be correct). So I pre-booked online and found the whole experience particularly straight forward and provides outstanding value.

Timanfaya will always be my favourite attraction, I never cease to be amazed by the dramatic and colourful landscape, especially when a visit includes Los Hervidores and Charco de los Clicos just along the coast too. The one that suprised me was Cesar Manrique’s last attraction to open the Jardin de Cactus, absolutely stunning even if you’re not into flowers!
